"Thank you for the wonderful service your company provided during a difficult time for my family.
We had a fire in our home on August 5, 2006. It took the firefighters twenty minutes to put out the flames and several more hours to clear the house of smoke. Smoke and soot were everywhere - every fiber and fabric in the house was affected. Clothing in closets, linens, drapes, curtains and carpeting were soiled to varying degrees by the soot and smoke. Our insurance company contacted your firm, and you promptly made arrangements to pick up every item that needed care and cleaning.
There were certain items which had quite a bit of sentimental value, including a baptismal outfit worn by all three of our sons, cherished baby clothing which we were saving for the next generation, and a quilt made by my grandmother. Your representatives promised to take good care of those items and to do everything they could to restore them to their original condition.
Other items needed immediate treatment for immediate use, especially my husband's suits and ties. Your company handled all of it with great professionalism and attention to detail. The items we needed immediately were cleaned and returned promptly. Other items were stored until we were ready to move back into our house.
We were originally given an estimate of six weeks by our contractor, but that extended into five months. A representative from your company kept in touch with us, reassuring us that you would continue to store our items until we could accept delivery. When we finally moved back into our home after Christmas, we arranged a delivery date. I could not believe how wonderful everything looked. My cloth napkins and tablecloths were pressed and hung neatly on hangers. They have never looked so good! The special items were restored as if they had never been covered in soot. All of our clothing, carpets, draperies, and other items are in better shape then they were before the fire.
